I would also like to make an apology...
A few months back, just before the caustic valley map upgrade, I was in a QP match on Caustic. It was a Skirmish Match and I was one of only two Assault Mech pilots on the team, I was piloting a Battlemaster 1G and my fellow, a King Crab.
We were set up humping the Hill, when all of a sudden, the whole team does a NASCAR right flank and heads to the enemy spawn, leaving just the two of us standing on that crater slope, with our Assault testes flapping in the wind... Sure enough, three seconds later the Enemy team comes flying round the left corner and inundates the pair of us, The King Crab tried to fight, and even typed "Help you fools" in team chat, I just flawed the gas and charged over the slope towards our team. I watched the game feed out of the corner of my eye, and when I saw that Assault Pilots name flash up as killed I knew I had mere seconds to live, and my vision turned red(along with the Battlemaster's paper doll)...
I Lived to crest that hill, just, and with the entire Enemy Team in toe. The first thing I did when I got over the hill was zoom in on our team, first was the shadow cat standing on top of the non-existent capture point at the enemy spawn, with 2 other light mechs looking stupid, and I shot my PPC in his face. I then took pot shots at several mediums and Heavies on our team, and typed Profanities at them as the enemy team stormed the hill en-masse and stomped us.
